I have posted a couple of videos about Henri, the French existentialist cat. Now he has his own website with many videos. See it here: Henri, Le Chat Noir
Première vidéo: Deuxième vidéo:
A well done comedic video about a remote controlled conductor. The reality is, most performing musicians have seen all of these conductors…
James Cagney and Bob Hope at a Friar’s Club Meeting back when actors were real performers. Bob Hope was 52 and James Cagney was 56. This is a side of these two entertainers you hardly ever saw but it shows you their enormous talent. I wonder if contemporary actors are as well rounded?
You don’t need many words to describe this video. Awful is the first one that comes to mind which should be shared in public.
Nora the Cat is a cat. She is a unique cat. She is a cat that plays the piano. Her human is a piano teacher. Sometimes during or after her human gives a piano lesson Nora will jump up on the piano stool and start playing her own improvised music. This is an amazing video of a Virtual Choir directed by composer Eric Whitacre. They are singing his music, Lux Aurumque. The virtual choir is made up of 185 voices, was recorded using 243 tracks, by singers in 12 different countries. Translation of the latin text: Light and Gold Light, warm, and heavy/loaded/pregnant/deep/dignified* Pure as if gold. Wonderful rendition of SLANE, written by Dennis Janzer for Choir, organ, and bagpipes. Performed by First United Methodist Church of Miami, and Christ the King Lutheran Church, both in Miami. Directed by Robert Gower, one of my former professors at the University of Miami, and a faithful United Methodist. He’s also a very funny guy.
This is a wonderful arrangement of a beautiful spiritual. It’s hard to believe this is a high school choir singing! This concert took place at St. Nicholas Church at Old Town Square in Prague, Czech Republic. Give Me Jesus is sung by the Central Islip Concert Choir, directed by Mr. John Anthony.
